Full Time (Hybrid Working)
Salary – Up to £30,000

The role will report directly into the Head of International Markets and will work to ensure the operational aspects of overseas provision is set up, monitored, and maintained for bespoke clients. This is a dual role, and you will also manage Publishing and customers based in Europe and work to increase sales in the region.

Key responsibilities of the International Operations Manager:

  • Managing senior operations administrator and overseeing tasks such as attendance tracking, corporate account reports and revenue reporting
  • Working with the other members of the International markets team and relevant members of Publishing to ensure the most efficient processes are developed and followed to build and grow the global footprint.
  • Liaising with the student services team to train them in dealing with international student queries
  • Working with the logistics team to assess feedback and coming up with suggested actions to improve international student and client service experience
  • Overseeing, with the learning and curriculum team the creation of courses and material delivery for international students as and where necessary
  • Organising hosting for demo sessions for potential new overseas clients
  • Liaising with marketing/IT to ensure Learning website is up to date and fit for purpose
  • Writing proposals for new overseas opportunities in Europe.
  • Managing relationships with institutes and clients in Europe and collaborate and Influence within the matrix structure to shape changes to the products that are developed and how they are sold, delivered and supported
  • Create strong and collaborative relationships with strategic partner organisation such as professional and industry bodies as well as potential commercial partners through both virtual and in country visits.
  • Attend relevant functions/events to network at a senior level
  • Build, develop and maintain a focused, effective and empowered international operations team
  • Involve the team and engage them with our vision, goals & KPIs to create success
  • Keep the team updated about our performance, progress and news, and inspire them to make a difference and continuously improve

Key requirements for the International Operations Manager:

  • As a manager of the international operations team you will provide direction for others and motivate them in order to build an effective team. You will be confident to manage staff to deliver tasks to the required standard.
  • Working with other teams you will demonstrate an ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and work with others to achieve team targets and objectives.
  • You will be technically proficient in microsoft and google operating systems.
  • As an account manager you will be confident in identifying, understanding and giving priority to meeting the needs of the customer and potential customers.
  • You will have strong communication skills in written and oral information and you will demonstrate an ability to be well organised, efficient and self-disciplined. You will be able to plan and schedule a variety of tasks in advance and manage priorities as appropriate.
  • You should demonstrate a commitment and enthusiasm to achieve goals and targets and deliver a high quality of work.
