Are you a passionate and engaging Trainer and Performance Coach looking for a new opportunity? Reporting to the Head of L&D with a dotted line to the Head of Sales Training, you will partner with consultants working across permanent, exec search and/or contract (low volume, high fee) and project models to accelerate their personal and professional growth, increase their performance and enhance their skill set.
You will help to measure their performance by reducing their time to first deal stats plus time to promotion and productivity.
You will be responsible for creating and delivering recruitment training to employees across the full 360 recruitment lifecycle. You will be a brand ambassador – role modeling and championing personal and professional growth and will be required to support and empower consultants in their journey to achieving their goals.  
This person will be primarily based in Leeds with travel to Manchester on a weekly basis. This is an essential part of the role.
Key responsibilities of the Sales Trainer & Performance Coach:

  • Working in partnership with the Head of L&D you will create a catalogue of training modules for both in person and online use across the 360 recruitment lifecycle.
  • Deliver in person training consultants across each business unit and location at a variety of experience levels ranging from Consultant to Principal Consultant.
  • Record training videos for the LMS.
  • Work with business unit leads to create training documents and templates specific to their team’s model.
  • Build meaningful relationships with both consultants and business unit leaders to understand business and individual training needs
  • Provide consistent, detailed feedback to business unit leaders and managers about the performance of their consultants.
  • Sales performance coaching – conduct call listening sessions with consultants to provide in the moment impact and generate results.
  • 121 coaching to help consultants achieve their objectives and overcome any performance related challenges.
  • Drive engagement with the LMS and promote all new and existing material.
  • Create reports pertaining to LMS engagement and identify trends / opportunities.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to improve our training offering

Key requirements for the Sales Trainer & Performance Coach:

  • Ideally degree qualified (any)
  • The successful person will have experience in a 360 capacity in either an exec search or a low volume high fee contract consultancy.
  • The client is happy to consider someone who has worked at Senior Consultant level who understands what it takes to train successful recruiters or who already has Sales Training and Performance coaching experience.
  • Understanding of projects or RPO model – contract recruitment.
  • Experience in sales coaching / training OR in mentoring / managing within a recruitment capacity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized
  • Agile and able to adapt to change efficiently and effectively
  • Excellent relationship building skills – able to adapt to / engage different personality types.
  • Passionate about the development of others.
  • Proficient in the use of PowerPoint.
  • An understanding of coaching models such as OSKAR or GROW is beneficial.
