Medlock Partners are partnering with an impressive manufacturing business, looking for an HR Business Partner to join the business.
This role reports directly to the HR Director, with opportunities to deputise for the Senior Leaders as needed, contributing to the development and implementation of people strategy.
As a Trusted Partner, you will collaborate closely with a dynamic and highly motivated HR team, making a meaningful difference across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities of the HR Business Partner:
- Partner the senior leadership, delivering strategically across HR operations, engagement and colleague development.
- Monitor and analyse people data trends and KPIs to enable preventative/corrective actions and to shape longer term strategic plans
- Work with People team colleagues to deliver the people plan, identifying current and future people-related business needs and strategies to prioritise
- Raise awareness of current and anticipated people opportunities, challenges and risks to inform current and future people related decisions and activity
- Coach leaders to manage change and drive a positive culture
- Provide expert advice and solutions in ER and performance management to support managers on complex disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, sickness, employee engagement and other people-related matters
- Act as a point of escalation for the business for any potential people related risks and ensure any known risks are managed appropriately
- Support on people-related projects to drive our engagement strategy
- To support People Managers and the HR Director as required with talent identification, planning and development
Key requirements of the HR Business Partner:
- CIPD or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in a Business Partnering role
- Experience with shaping people strategy and plans relating to colleague development and engagement
- Previous experience of working within a fast paced, changeable environment is essential for this role.
- Experience within the manufacturing sector or similar would be highly advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching, impact and influencing skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to forge highly effective business relationships
- High level of planning and organising skills
- Customer orientation and business/commercial awareness
- Able to make a persuasive, clear presentation of ideas, both in writing and orally to convince others and gain acceptance, creating a positive impression on others
- Resilient under pressure or opposition and makes controlled responses in stressful situations
- Able to analyse and evaluate data and options for action to reach sound conclusions
